If you enjoy a cocktail every so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and cheques back at the hotel. Pack only the cash you intend to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you expect to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You may well experience a success following a drunken night out with your acquaintances and be lucky sufficiently to hit a marathon toss at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that account considering that it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink and bet. The two just don’t mix.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel is a little dramatic, but precautionary measures for excessive behavior is necessary. If you wager to win, then do not drink and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your cash nary a worry, then drink all the gratuitous booze your stomach can handle, but don’t pack charge cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of chasing squanderings after your drunk as a skunk head throws away everything!
Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then jump online to gamble in your favorite internet casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my home, but seeing that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
Why? Even though I do not drink a lot, once I drink, it’s absolutely adequate to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble at the same time. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
