If you enjoy a drink every once in a while, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your pocketbook, your money belt, and keep all cash, charge cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you expect to use on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to squander and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You may well have a win following a boozy night out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hit a long roll at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and gamble. The pair simply don’t go well together.
Keeping your moolah at home might be a bit dramatic, but precautionary measures for dramatic actions is required. If you play to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you can afford to be wasteful with your money nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous beer you can handle, but do not pack credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your hooched up self loses everything!
Allow me to carry this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump on the internet to gamble in your best-liked casino either. I love to beverage from the coziness of my home, but considering that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and wager.
How come? Even though I do not consume alcohol a lot, when I drink alcohol, it is definitely sufficient to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble at the same time. The two mix up for a ferocious, and crazy, cocktail.
